This resource includes posters or class resources for math centers with 3D shapes of the following: cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder, hemisphere, hexagonal prism, pentagonal prism, sphere, square based pyramid, triangle based pyramid, triangular prism.
It also contains nets for the following shapes: cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder, hexagonal prism, pentagonal prism, square based pyramid, triangle based pyramid, triangular prism.
The resource contains differentiated activities, hence the wide age range for this pack. Each activity has teacher's instructions to explain each activity in more detail with suggestions of how to deliver the tasks. Students will get experience in the following:
* identifying the 3D shapes
* identifying the 2D nets
* matching the shapes to their nets
* drawing and making activities
This also has a bundled clip art selection worth $4 of 3D shapes and their nets included (minus the nets for a sphere and hemisphere though!). These resources are designed to accompany this resource, but of course they can be used for a wide variety of things!
There are 40 images in total: 20 color images and 20 black line art images. The images are 300dpi png files so they have transparent backgrounds and can be enlarged whilst still maintaining excellent quality.
