Resource Description

This is a set practice calculations that test pupils' use of the equation:

Cost = Power x Time x Price per Unit

There are 3 similar Question Sheets which each consist of 20 written questions and a single sheet containing the numerical solutions to the 3 batches of questions.

The sheets are designed to reduce photocopying/printing costs by using small margin size and tight line/paragraph spacing. However, the document may be edited to any format desired using a word processor.

The sheets are aimed at giving able pupils at GCSE or A-Level plenty of practice in this topic prior to their exams. To this end, the units used are varied to include:
Power in W or kW and Time in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks.
