Resource Description

This resource is a lesson aimed at teaching the New AQA GCSE Physics course. This lesson is based on Convex lenses, how they work and how to right ray diagrams.

This lesson has 4 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:

*Describe what a lens does.

*Explain, using ray diagrams, how images are formed using convex lenses.

*Apply your understanding to draw ray diagrams to show the formation of real and images.

*Link your understanding of lenses to draw ray diagrams to show the formation of virtual images.

This lesson is designed challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, aimed at getting the most out of the more able students learning the New 9-1 Science course.
