"Let's talk about travelling"

A teaching resource provided by Irina Brooks.

Resource Description

"Let's talk about travelling" is a speaking activity designed to practise Present Perfect in combination with other tenses. The students get descriptions of the destinations, including suggestions for things to do, 4 pictures on each destination to stimulate their imagination (all the pictures were taken by me) and a role card. They develop a conversation, which allows them to feel how Present Perfect is used in context and develop their speaking abilities. The activity pack includes instructions for the teacher, example of how the activity works and worksheets for the students. It is suitable for low-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate learners of English as a foreign language and can be used in groups as well as one-to one lessons.
