Initial worksheet (degrees and radians, speed and angular velocity, using equations for centripetal force etc.)
Title slide plus 4 slides on speed and angular velocity and scenarios.
Worksheets on scenarios:
Students work individually on one of two alternative worksheets which consider the same scenarios (sheets A and B).
Students consider their answers on the first worksheet in pairs and agree on final answers.
Students work in groups combining those who have worked on sheets A and B (sheet B has the answers to sheet A, and vice versa). Students resolve any differences and explain their working to each other.
Students work on sheet C which has additional questions on the scenarios met in sheets A and B.
If there is time, the students work individually on a problem sheet.

About the Author
I taught physics and electronics for over 30 years, mainly at A level in sixth form colleges. Quite a few years ago I wrote several physics books and contributed to others, it was so long ago I am sure they must all be out of print. In addition I have worked for the OU in the past and still do some examining work.
