Take your students out of their comfort zones and challenge them to really work their brains and develop their thinking skills with this activity which requires students to firstly identify the meaning of each of the three concepts. They then have to find the odd one out (there is not necessarily a right or wrong answer) and then challenge them to think laterally to make a connection or link between all three concepts. These tasks are excellent for formative assessment for learning - perfect for stretch and challenge activities.
