Resource Description

This resource is a fully differentiated lesson aimed at teaching the new AQA GCSE Physics and Trilogy Physics specification, and links to Internal Energy and Energy Transfers.

This lesson has 5 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:

*Identify factors that affect the rate of evaporation.

*Describe that evaporation can cause cooling.

*Explain how evaporation causes cooling using the particle model.

*Apply your understanding of evaporation to explain why you feel cold when you get out of the shower.

*Link your understanding of the factors that affect evaporation to explain why people can die of overheating in a jungle or dehydration in a desert.

This lesson is designed with a challenge objective and challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students.
