This beautifully detailed and illustrated power point presentation explores how Steinbeck portrays the sole female character of 'Curely's Wife' through structured writing tasks and class discussion. I have used this resource successfully in my own classes many times over the last 17 years, and I still very much enjoy teaching it. Wherever appropriate the themes and motifs are weaved into the lesson learning, with all pupils gaining a well-rounded appreciation of this text.
