STANDARD FORM PPT - includes title, learning objective and date on first slide

Starter - differentiated starter which asks students to work out powers with the base as 10 with answers provided

Discussion / incorporation of literacy - Includes definition, keywords and where the topic can be used in real life

Rule and Examples of what standard form looks like

Hands up activity asking students if the number is in standard form

Lesson is then chunked with examples/AFL questions and practice questions

Firstly, starts with large numbers with examples, AFL questions and then practice questions and then the same with small numbers and calculations with standard form.
